Founded in 2020 by Abhinav Sharma, The Interior Stories began with a simple belief — that a home should feel like its owners, not its designer. We craft interiors that blend style with functionality, reflecting your lifestyle and aspirations.
Our expertise spans turnkey solutions and bespoke designs — from concept and 3D visualisation to on-site execution — with 30+ homes completed across Delhi NCR and the Chandigarh Tricity.
How we got here
Why the studio exists
The Interior Stories was founded in 2020 on a straightforward observation: most homes are decorated rather than designed. A style gets applied to a plan nobody questioned, and the result photographs well and works badly. We wanted to run it the other way round — understand the household first, fix the plan, and let the look follow from decisions that were made for a reason.
Design and execution under one roof
The usual arrangement in this industry is that a designer draws and a contractor builds, and the gap between them becomes the client's problem. We kept the site team in-house instead. The carpenters, civil team and supervisors on your project work for the same studio that designed it, which is why what gets handed over matches what was approved — there was nobody in between to reinterpret it.
How we work with people
Budget planning is a formal stage, not an awkward conversation at the end. Every wall, finish and light is approved in 3D before anything is built. You get one point of contact and weekly updates with photographs. None of this is remarkable; it is simply what we would want if we were paying for the work.
Where we work
Across Delhi NCR and the Chandigarh Tricity, with thirty-plus completed homes and offices between them. Two regions is a deliberate limit rather than a lack of ambition — our own team executes every project, and that only stays true within a radius they can actually cover.
